Our Story

Cricket Started It. Community Built It.

Top Hill Cricket & Country Club has been part of this community for years. It started on a cricket field — a group of people who loved the game, a patch of hilltop land with a view that stops you mid-sentence, and a shared belief that this place could be more than a playing ground.


It became more. The grounds have hosted matches and tournaments, but also school days, fundraisers, workshops, and events that brought the whole district together. The hall has seen weddings, business talks, birthday dinners, and conversations that needed a proper room.

Cricket gave the club its name and its backbone. What kept it going was the people of Top Hill — showing up, putting in, and taking care of a space that belongs to all of them. That's still what drives it.

What We Do

Three Things We Take Seriously

The club has three areas of focus. They overlap more than you'd expect.

Sports Development

Cricket is what started all of this, and it's still at the center. We run matches at youth and senior level, train players on the grounds, and take the game seriously. The facilities are good. The views from the pitch are genuinely hard to beat.

Entrepreneurship

We hold workshops, bring in people worth learning from, and connect community members who are building something. A lot of what we do here is simple: getting people in the same room and making introductions that matter.

Personal Development

The programs here go beyond sport and business. Life skills, mentorship, conversations that don't fit anywhere else — this part is harder to describe but probably just as important. The club is open to everyone, whether you play cricket or not.

The Pavilion

Open-air, covered, and sitting at the top of the hill. On a clear day the views stretch across St. Elizabeth to the coast. Good for receptions, ceremonies, or anything where the setting is part of the event.

Ball Ground & Kitchen

A well-kept cricket ground large enough for matches, outdoor events, and community days. Kitchen access is included. Good for groups that need open space and room to spread out.

Pavilion & Meeting Room
